The JP Korsteel Curved French Link Eggbutt Snaffle Bit combines a traditional eggbutt cheek with a curved multi link moutpiece more commonly found in loose ring bit.

The eggbutt cheek pieces prevent the pinching that can happen with a loose ring bit. Because the cheeks are fixed in place, it also offers a very small amount of lateral control. The french link on this bit is designed to lay flat over the tongue, and is useful for horses with limited palate space.
